Be it ordained by tke City Council of tke City of Georgetown, Texas: -- See. 1. ^hat to meet the current expenses of tke City of Georgetown, Texas, and to carry on the City Government of said City for the year of 1914, there is here and now levied and shall Tye collected an annual ad valorem tax of Twenty-five cents on the t100.00 assessed valuation for tke year of 1914, of all real and personal property and estate in the City of Georgetown, Texas, not exempt from taxation by tke Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas. Sec. 2. Tkat to work, grade and improve the streets of the City of Georgetown, Texas, for tke year of 1914, there is mere and now levied and shall be collected an annual ad ♦al•oren tax of Fifteen Cents on the t100.00 assessed valuation for the Near of 1914, of all real and personal property and estate in tke City of r Georgetown, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas. Sec. 3. Tkat for tie support and maintenance of the Public Free Sekeols in the City of Georgetown, Texas, for the year of 1914, and as determined according to law by an eleetionheretofore held in said City for said purpose, there is here and now levied and shall be collected an annual ad valorem tax of Forty Cente on the $100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914, of all real and personal property and estate in the City of Georgetown, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Lavers of the State of Texas, and tke amount of the taxes collected as provided for in this Section shall constitute a separate fund and shall be used for no otker purpose tkan as &erein specified. Sec. 4. Tkat to pay the interest and create a sinking fund to meet the t89000.00 in bonds of tke City known as tke "City of Georgetown Refunding Sekool Rouse Bonds"as evidenced by eigkt $1000.00 unpaid bands, issued for tie purpose of refunding, can- celling and in lieu of certain bonds known as "Public School Build- ing Bonds" as skown by ordinance of this City, passed and approved on November 13th, 1905, such ordinance being Sections 117to 129 inclusive, of the Revised Civil and Criminal Ordinances of tke City of Georgetown, Texas, and as provided in said ordinance there is kere and now levied and shall be collected for the year of 1914, an annual ad valorem tax of Three Cents on the t100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914, of all real and personal property and estate in the City of Georgetown, Texas, not exempt from taxa- tion by tke Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, and the amount of taxes collected under the provisions of this section stall be used for no otker purpose than that herein specified. See. 5.
