heretofore, by resolution, ordered the improven.ent of .;:och & 12th Meets
r.ith Uvalde 'Rock asphalt, and the building of curb �:.nd gutters on either
aide of ,paid ;streets, v,,hcn L,,nd tirhe:re found necessary, in accordance with
the terms of s��id re, olution; and

said City of GeorL;etovvn, after advertising for bids, the 1-ol'k of im-
proving the above iiientioried streets, betA,een said points, to be im-
proved :Ath Uvalde ''Lock Asphalt has been let to L. Dozier; and
vhhi;R'AS, a contract b.as been entered into between the said
City of Georgetown, and '6. E. Dozier, oi� the 7th day of July, 1922;
and
N. Farris, the City Engineer of the City of
GeorE etov;n, 'Texas, in accordance i.%ith a r.°esolution of paid City
Council heretofore passed, h.�A,s filed- his report ,-,ith the City
Council as to the cost of -.&id improver_ient �.nd L.s to the matter

2nd. That a hearing shall be given. to the o�:ners of the
said ; roperty or the it agents or attorneys , and all persons in-

tice of said hearing by having this resolution Lublished three
times in The V i_l.iiairson County Sun, the first publication to be
made at least ten da•:-s lac fore tl,e d--i.te of Luch hearing, �Ald to
mail each of ner, their agents or attorneys, a copy t..LL:uUof, 'at
least ten days before the date of such hearing.
3rd. That after said hearing Laid City Council 1-:ill, by
ordinance, assess aginst the o';.ners of .aid -property and against
their pro-,,
erty, such sums as shall be determined to be just and
equitable, and that said assessment will be made in accordance
v;ith the ";'�'r.ont Foot Plan", as the frontage of the o•.,ner is to
the r.�hole frontage to be improved, lrovided th,:.,,t if tfle, -.aid plan
ohall be determined in any case to be unjust or inequitable, that
the City Council -,:ill adopt ;_uch rule or apportionm;.nt as --hall
be just and equitable, Having in mind t`e benefits to each u ner,
and the burdens il_,iposed u;-on them, provided that no assess.mt.nt
shall be ._iad.e agtLin t 1-Lny oti ner or his ,;ro-perty in excess of the
benefits to said yroperty in enhanced value thereof', by means of
such improvements.
