BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas: That said ordinance of the said City pa,�sed and approved on the loth, day of March A.D. 19 49 regulating the leaving of obstructions on the public streets of the said City, in so far as the same prohibited the leaving or pRrking of auto- mobiles, trucks and other vehilces on the said streets without lights thereon, be amended to hereafter read as follows: That it shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, owning or in charge of any automobile, truck, or other vehicle, to leave the same upon any public street of the said City in the night time, without a light burning thereon, when said automobile, truck or other vehicle has not been in actual use for and during the next preceding 24 hours, That other than as herein provided, it shall be lawful to leave sch vehicle upon the streets without a light thereon. That other than as herein amended the said ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. That any person violating any portion of this ordinance shall be fined in any sum not less than One nor more than One Hundred Dollars. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 9th, day of June A.D.1924. J_no .
