AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.2, ORGANIZATION, OF
ORDINANCE NUMBER 870087.00A ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN ON MARCH 10, 1987 BE AMENDED BY
DELETING THE PHRASE "THE BOARD SHALL NOT HAVE MORE THAN
ONE-FOURTH OF ITS MEMBERS DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY CONNECTED
WITH REAL ESTATE AND LAND DEVELOPMENT"; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN:
SECTION 1, That Section 11.2, ORGANIZATION, of Ordinance Number 870087.00A
adopted by the City Council of the City of Georgetown on March 10, 1987 be
amended by deleting the following phrase:
The Board shall not have more than one-fourth of its
members directly or indirectly connected with real estate
and land development."
SECTION 2. If any section, paragraph,
Ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or held
clause, phrase, or
unconstitutional,
provision of this
the same shall
not affect the validity of this Ordinance as a whole or any part or provision
thereof other than the part so declared to be invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon adoption of its second
and final reading by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas.
