HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 81-12- Increasing Membership of Airport Advisory Boardv f 12'7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN ORDINANCE WHICH CREATED THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD BY INCREASING BOARD MEMBERSHIP FROM THREE (3) TO FIVE (5) MEMBERS AND ESTABLISH- ING QUALIFICATIONS AND TERMS OF OFFICE FOR DOARD MEMBERS. WHEREAS, The City of Georgetown did enact an Ordinance creating an Airport Advisory Board on July 17, 1976, and WHEREAS, said Ordinance was subsequently amended to permit members who did not live within the Corporate City Limits to serve on said Board if they either own or operate a business within the City, and WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable in the best interest of effective Bo,;rd Operation to increase the membership of the Board from three (3) to five (5) member::.
