AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
ABANDONING AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF TO
SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY OF ALL OF LOCUST OR
NINTH STREET LYING TO THE EES` V' ARD OF ITS INTERSECTION
WITH LAUREL STREET OF SAID CITY AND CREATING AN EMERGENCY
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown that the extension of Locust Street or Ninth Street in,,.,
an Easterly direction from Laurel Street be and the same is hereby
abandoned as a street, and that the said abandoned street be sold
to Southwestern University for a cash consideration of Five ($5,00)
Dollars* The Mayor of said City is hereby directed to execute a
deed on behalf of the City conveying such property to Southwestern,
University.
That a necessity exists that this ordinance be at once
passed and it is so ordered*
