WHEREAS,.the State Highway Department of the State of Texas is desirous of
constructing State Highway No. • .

and,
WHEREAS, the varticipition of the State Highway Department of Texas in the;
improvement of said highway is contingent upon the' City of
agreeing to refrain from permitting encroachments upon the right -of way of
said above mentioned streets, and until and unless the City of ..
agrees to refrain from passing ordinances or laws fixing a speed limit of
less than twenty miles per hour on said above mentioned streets, and until
and unless the City of 4400011ge 404 agrees to refrain. from erecting
signs, semaphores, aid signals that will give preference to local routes
or that will hinder or delay traffic on said above mentioned streets.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by th of

hour; nor will it allow the eroction of signs, semaphores, and signals that
will give preference to local routes which intersect with said above mnrnn
tioned streets nor that will slow up, hinder, or delay traffic on said above
mentioned streets.
