Governing Body of the City of Georgetown, Texas
Friday, December 17, 2021
The Georgetown City Council will meet on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Council
Chambers at 510 West 91h St., Georgetown, Texas.
The City of Georgetown is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act

Mayor Schroeder called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. The following Council Members were
in attendance: Mayor Josh Schroeder; Amanda Parr, Council Member District 1; Shawn Hood,
Council Member District 2; Mike Triggs, Council Member District 3; Steve Fought, Council
Member District 4; Kevin Pitts, Council Member District 5; and Jake French, Council Member
District 6. Tommy Gonzalez, Council Member District 7 was absent. A quorum of Council
Members was present in Council Chambers and a roll call was performed.
Legislative Regular Session
(This Regular session may, at any time, be recessed to convene an Executive Session for any
purpose authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551.)
A. Second Reading of an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown approving the
Redistricting of the City's single -member Council Districts and establishing new district
boundary lines based on the 2020 Census Data -- Skye Masson, City Attorney
Masson presented the item and noted that there had been no changes since the first reading.
Motion by Pitts to approve the item as presented, second by Parr.

B. Second Reading of an Ordinance to consider the designation of the Tax Increment
Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) Number Six (North Georgetown) under Chapter 311 of the Texas
Code for approximately 224 acres of land in the City Limits, generally located on the west of
IH35, north of the HWY195 intersection and the adoption of a Preliminary Project Plan and
Financing Plan for the proposed TIRZ -- Michaela Dollar, Economic Development Director
Dollar presented the item and noted that there had been no changes since the first reading.
Motion by Pitts to approve the item as presented, second by Parr.

C. Consideration of the TIRZ Zone #6 (North Georgetown TIRZ) Reimbursement Agreement

Development Director
Dollar presented the item and reviewed the company profile for Jackson Shaw, project
location, proposed concept, proposed concept renderings, proposed infrastructure, Dry Berry
Creek Interceptor, FM 972 extension, and proposed incentives.
Motion by Pitts to approve the item as presented, second by Hood.

D. Consideration of an economic development incentive agreement between the Georgetown

Dollar presented the item and reviewed the company profile for Jackson Shaw, project
location, proposed concept, proposed concept renderings, proposed infrastructure, Dry Berry
Creek Interceptor, FM 972 extension, and proposed incentives.
