joint Meeting - City Council and Electric Board
The Georgetown City Council will meet on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the
Georgetown Public Library, 402 West 8th Street, Hewlett Room, Georgetown, Texas.
The City of Georgetown is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act

Mayor Schroeder called the meeting to order at 2:01 p.m. The following Council Members were
in attendance: Mayor Josh Schroeder; Amanda Parr, Council Member District 1; Shawn Hood,
Council Member District 2; Mike Triggs, Council Member District 3; Steve Fought, Council
Member District 4; Kevin Pitts, Council Member District 5. Tommy Gonzalez, Council Member
District 7 was absent. District 6 is vacant. Fought was attending the meeting virtually. A quorum
of Council Members was present in the Hewlett Room at the Library and a roll call was
performed.
Robert Case, Electric Board Chair called the meeting to order at 2:01 p.m. The following Council
Members were in attendance: Rick Woodruff, Vicechair, Sam Jones, Secretary, Ben Butler, and
Mike Triggs. A quorum of the Board was present in the Hewlett Room at the Library and a roll
call was performed.
Also in attendance were the following staff members: Daniel Bethapudi, David Morgan, Laurie
Brewer, Jennifer Flor, Mike Weisner (virtually), Leigh Wallace, Skye Masson, Caroline Stewart,
and Kress Carson.
Legislative Regular Agenda
(This Regular session may, at any time, be recessed to convene an Executive Session for any
purpose authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551.)
A. Joint Electric Board and City Council Meeting
The Electric Board and City Council will meet and then convene into Executive Session under
Sec. 551.086 and 551.071 if needed. Any needed actions out of Executive Session will be made
in public.
Both entities reviewed presentations provided by Steve Moffitt and Ramsey Cripe of
Schneider Engineering; Iryna Franko, Roy True, and Graham Becher of ACES; and Shams
Siddiqi of Crescent Power.
No action was taken during the meeting.
The meeting was reconvened into Regular Session and adjourned for both entities at 4:15 p.m.
Executive Session
In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas
Codes, Annotated, the items listed below will be discussed in closed session and are subject to
action in the regular session.
B. Sec. 551.071: Consultation with Attorney
Advice from attorney about pending or contemplated litigation and other matters on which
the attorney has a duty to advise the City Council, including agenda items
Sec. 551.086: Certain Public Power Utilities: Competitive Matters
