AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS
OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND
GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE
INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS
AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID
FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES
OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly
signed and acknowledged by each and every person or corporation
having an interest in the property described on the attached
"Exhibit All and is made a part hereof for all purposes.
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent
to the City of Georgetown, Texas, and is not more than one
mile in width, and,
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council
on the llth day of September, 1972, such date being not less
than 5 and not more than 30 days from the date hereof, and,
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments
for and against the same the City Council has voted to grant
such petition and to annex said territory to the City of
Georgetown, Texas:
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of
the City of Georgetown, Texas;
That the foregoing described property be and the same
is hereby annexed to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County,
Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include the
above described territory within the city limits of the City
of Georgetown, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included
within the territorial limits of said city, and said land and
the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled
to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the City
of Georgetown, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and
ordinances of said City.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the
County Clerk of Georgetown, Texas, a certified copy of this
Ordinance.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all members of the
City Council, on the first reading this day of

vote of all members of the City Council, on the second reading
