EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 76.92 ACRES
OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES
ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT
BOUNDARY LIMIT OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS. �.
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas, where all interested persons were
provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed
annexation of that certain tract of land located in Williamson
County, Texas, consisting of 76.92 acres, was held at City
Hall on the28th day of March, 1974, which date is not more
than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the institution
of annexation proceedings; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Georgetown,
Texas,.,and in the above described territory on the 14th day
of Mdreh, 1974, which date is not more than twenty nor less
than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, on the first day of January, 1974, was
acres; and
WHEREAS, the population of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
is -3q5 inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, the above described territory lies within the
extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown, Texas;
and
WHEREAS, the above described territory lies adjacent to and
adjoins the City of Georgetown, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the above described territory contains 76.92'-acres;
now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1. The following described land and territory
lying adjacent to and adjoining the City of Georgetown,
Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and said territory hereinafter described shall hereafter
be included within the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and the present boundary limits of such City, at the
various points contiguous to the area hereinafter described,
are altered and amended so as to include said area within the
corporate limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, to -wit:
Being that certain tract and parcel of land described on
Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof for
all purposes.
Section 2. The land hereby annexed is zoned as reflected
on the attached and annexed plat of said area.
Section 3. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and
the property so added hereby shall bear its pro rata part of
the taxes levied by the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the
inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all of the rights and
privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts,
ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of Georgetown,
Texas.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be published and passed
in the manner provided in the Charter of the City of Georgetown,
Texas and the applicable laws of the State of Texas.

BEING 76.92 acres in the Antonio Flores Survey, Abstract No. 235,
and in the N. Porter Survey, Abstract No. 497, in Williamson County,
Texas, and being adjacent to the present North City Limits of the
City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at the point on the West R. 0. W. line of Loop 418 (Formerly
U. S. Highway 81) where the present North City Limits of Georgetown,
Texas, intersects said R. 0. W. line near the intersection of F.. M.
Highway 971 and Loop 415;
THENCE N 840161E, with the said North City Limits of Georgetown,
Texas, 704.83 feet to a point;
THENCE N 5044'W, at 30 feet cross the centerline of F. M. Highway
No. 971, a total distance of 70.00 feet to'the North R. 0. W. line
of said F. M. Highway No. 971, said point being on the South line
of the Olivia L. Timmerman, et al, 155.07 acre tract, of record in
Vol. 501, Page 1 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas;
THENCE 1.391.88 feet along the arc.of a curve to the left whose
radius is 6149.65 feet, whose central angle is 12 Degrees-58 Minutes-
05 Seconds, and whose long chord bears N 2404910211E, and is 1388.91
feet long;
THENCE N 180201El 510.05 feet with a line parallel with the R. 0. W.
line of Loop 418 and 350 feet East thereof to a point on the South
line of the Georgetown I. S. D. 50 acre tract;
THENCE along the South boundary line of the said Georgetown I. S. D.
tract as follows:
N 73 121E, 1332.48 feet and N 81°571E, 511.90 feet to the most easterly
corner of the said Georgetown I. S. D. 50 acre tract;
THENCE N 1$°04'30"W, 1277.70 feet to the Northeast corner thereof;
THENCE-S 71054130"W, 1441.20 feet along the North boundary line of
the said Georgetown I. S. D. 50 acre tract to a point on the East
R. 0. W. line of Loop 418;
THENCE crossing said R. 0. W. N 710401W9 100 feet to a point on the
West R. 0. W. line of said Loop 418;
