ANNEXING ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND
EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO
INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL
FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS
AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID
FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES
OF THE SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed
and acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having
an interest in the following ae®cribed territory, to-wit4
All -that certain tract or parcel of land, lying and
being situated in Williamson County, Texas, a part of the J.P.
Pulsifer Survey, Abstract # 498, and being a part of the tract
of 357 acre tract described in a deed from Kate Nowlin, et al,
to J. T. Parker, of record in Vol. 341, page 75, of the deed
records of Williamson County, Texas, and more fully described
by metes and bounds as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the most western corner of "Country
Club Acres, Unit II", according to the official map of said
addition of record in Vol. page � of the Map
or Plat records of said County, said beginning point being
South 09032' East.2546.0 feet (computed) from the North
or NE corner of said Pulsifer Survey;
THENCE South 33054' East with the margin of Parkway
Street 523.70 feet to a steel pin set at the intersection of
same, afth the Southeast margin of "Country Club Road", and
being the most Eastern corner'of the premises herein de-
scribed, and also being
the most Eastern corner of"Country�Club Acres, Unit III;
THENCE South 51000' West with the NW margin of
"Country Club Road" 203.41 feet to a steel pin set for the
South corner hereof;

THENCE North 4904o' West 409.55 feet to a steel pin
set in the bed of a small ravine for corner, from which
another steel pin on the East bank of same bears S 49040E
24.38' feet;
THENCE up said ravine with the following meanders:
North 35022' East 14.35 feet,
North 00039' West 60.80 feet,
North 11004' West 71.85 feet, from which a steel pin on the
east bank of said branch bears N 640o0' E 8.00 feet;
THENCE continuing up said branch'North 03025' West
6o.94 feet,
North 29010' East 48.75 feet,
North 12023' East 177.10 feet, and North 16009' West 174.30
feet to a steel pin set at the most Western corner of the
premises herein described, same being the West corner of
Lot No. Eight (8) of thLs subdivision;
THENCE South 70020" East along the Northeast line of
said Lot No. 8, 216.00 feet to a steel pin set in the
curving Northwest R.O.W. of "Ranch Road" for corner;
THENCE with the curving R.O.W. of said Street,
the degree of said curve being 340441, the central angle
14003', the Radius 165.00 feet, on a chord which bears
North 56001' East, a distance of 40.36, an arc distance of
40.46 feet to a steel pin set for the P.T. of said curve,
and bein!' the most Northern corner of the premises herein

THENCE South 26057' East 60.00 feet to a steel pin
set for the P.T. of said curve, which is 30 feet from and
at right angles to the centerline of said street;
hMNCE with the curving SE margin of said "Ranch
Road" the degree of said curve being 5�40341, the central
angle being 96057`, and having a radius of 105.00 feet, and
the long chord of which bears South 14036, East 157.22
feet, an are distance along said curve of 177.67 feet to
a steel pin set at the P.C. of said curve, which is 30 feet
from and right angles to the centerline of said street;
THENCE South 330541 East 6.50 feet to a steel pin
set in the Northwest line of "Country Club Acres, Unit'II,
the West corner of Lot No. 12,

WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the
City of Georgetown, Texas, and is not more than one-half (z) mile
in width, and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council
on the day of !j/�//��p� , 1969, such date being not
less than 5 and not more than 30 days from the date hereof, and
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for
and against the same the City Council has voted to grant such
petition and to annex said territory to the City of Georgetown,
Texas;
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas:
That the foregoing described property be and the same is
hereby annexed to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County,
Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include the above
described territory within the city limits of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included
within the territorial limits of said city, and said land and
the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all
rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said city.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County
Clerk of Georgetown, Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance.
