GEORGETOWN HOUSING REHABILITATION COMMITTEE
JUNE 10, 1991
Members Present: Dionisio Rodriguez
Diana Hill
Nat Lopez
Brad Stratton, Ex Officio

1. The meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m. It was moved by Diana Hill
and seconded by Nat Lopez that the minutes from April 25th be approved as
presented. Passed by 3-0 vote.
2. There were no individuals wishing to address the committee.
3. The committee discussed advertisingfor the program and Brad suggested
the following plan:
Solicit Newspaper stories with information about the
program including Background, A Map of the Affected
Area, Minimum Qualifications, and Information of How
t2Apply LC ntact Person, etc)
Create Handbills ;with the above information and
distribute them to churches in the area including
1st Methodist, Friendly Will Baptist and the
Pentecostal Church. In addition the Ministers of
these churches will be contacted by HRC members.
Letters or Handbills sent to each home in the area
and the Caring Place.
It was moved by Diana Hill and seconded by Nat Lopez to direct Brad
to begin work on this advertising program.
4. The committee established the following goals for the project:
Begin Advertising Campaign by June 24, 1991
Hold Initial Application Period July 15 - &ugust 15, 1991.
July 22, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. was established as the next HRC meeting time.
5. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
