HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 031020-L - Replat of Wolf RanchRESOLUTION NO.03 IVZO- L RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN APPROVING, AS OWNER OF A PORTION OF LOT 1, BLOCK E, REPLAT OF WOLF RANCH WEST, SECTION 4A, THE REPLAT OF THE REPLAT OF WOLF RANCH WEST, SECTION 4A; AND, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS. WHEREAS, H4WR Phase 4, LLC, caused to be recorded a plat subdividing 70.408 acres of land in the C. Stubblefield Survey in Document No. 2019113309 of the Official Public Records of Williamson County, Texas ("Wolf Ranch Sec. 4a"); and, WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas, is owner of that certain parkland, a portion of which is located on a portion of Lot 1, Block E, Replat of Wolf Ranch West, Section 4a, according to the Document No. 2020022138 of the Official Public Records of Williamson County, Texas (the "City Parkland"); and, WHEREAS, the owners of the lots in Wolf Ranch Sec. 4a wish to make certain changes to the plat of that subdivision which require the vacation of certain lots across 31.993 acres of Wolf Ranch Sec. 4a, including the City Parkland, and which require a replat of the subdivision; and, WHEREAS, a replat has been submitted to the Planning Department of the City of Georgetown, for review and approval under the City of Georgetown Municipal and Unified Development Codes, and has been assigned the designation 2020-16-FP; and, WHEREAS, the City, in its capacity as owner of Lot 1, Block E, does not object the Replat of the Replat of Wolf Ranch West, Section 4a, including the 10.503 acres which constitute a portion of Lot 1, Block E; and WHEREAS, all owners, including the City of Georgetown, must approve and execute the Replat document; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any of the City's 2030 Comprehensive Plan policies. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Replat of the Replat of Wolf Ranch West, Section 4A as is approved and executed by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Georgetown, and any other document(s) necessary to complete the replat act described herein, and the City Secretary is authorized to attest thereto on behalf of the City of Georgetown. SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption. RESOLVED this day of 2020.
