BY PRESCRIBING MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR THE
DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION OR INSTALLATION, REPAIR
OR ALTERATIONS OF SWIMMING POOLS, PUBLIC OR
PRIVATE, AND EQUIPMENT RELATED 'THERETO;
PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCE-
MENT OF THE STANDARDS SET FORTH HEREIN•, TO
PROVIDE FOR THE, ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND
COLLECTION OF FEES THEREOF, PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION' 'THEREOF, AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Standard` Swimming Pool Code,, 1974 Edition, three
copies of which are on file in the office of the Clerk, is hereby adopted by
reference, and incorporated as if set out fully herein.
Section 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, provision,
or part of this ordinance shall be held invalid for any, reason, the remainder
of this ordinance shall not be affected thereby but shall remain in full
force and effect.
Section 3. Any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with.
the provisions contained herein are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective from and after,
its passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas on first reading the day,.of 1,9X and passed
on Second and Final Reading this ay of 1976.
