Tuesday, March 26, 2019
The Georgetown City Council will meet on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Council Chambers,
at 101 E. 7t1 St., Georgetown, Texas for a Special Meeting.

Policy Development/Review Workshop — Call to order at 3:00 PM by Mayor. All Council were in
attendance.
Mayor Dale Ross called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM. All Councilmembers were in attendance: Mayor
Dale Ross; Anna Eby, Councilmember District 1; Valerie Nicholson, District 2; John Hesser, District 3;
Steve Fought, Councilmember District 4; Kevin Pitts, Councilmember District 5; Rachael Jonrowe,
Councilmember District 6 and Tommy Gonzalez, Councilmember District 7.
Staff in attendance — David Morgan, Laurie Brewer, Charlie McNabb, Wayne Reed, Karen Frost, Paul
Diaz, Jack Daly, Glenn Dishong, Michaela Dollar, Mike Babin, Leigh Wallace, Glen Holcomb, Jim Briggs,
Kimberly Garrett, Julie Causabon, Fred Pitcher, Sofia Nelson, Nat Waggoner, Wesley Wright, Trish Long
and Eric Johnson.
A. First Public Hearing for the voluntary annexation of an approximate 0.63 -acre tract in the L.P.
Dyches Survey, Abstract No. 171, and initial zoning designation of the General Commercial (C-3)
zoning district upon annexation, for the property generally located at 8400 RR 2338, to be a part of
Highland Village -- Nat Waggoner, AICP, PMP, Long Range Planning Manager
Waggoner explained that this was a public hearing, with another hearing scheduled for later this
evening. He explained that this was done to meet the two public hearing requirements for voluntary
annexation. He showed the location map and the proposed annexation. The Mayor opened the
Public Hearing and with no speakers coming forth closed the Public Hearing
Adjournment
Motion by Fought, second by Pitts to adjourn the meeting. Approved 7 — 0.
Mayor Ross adjourned the meeting at 3:04 PM to begin the City Council Workshop.
