RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN
REQUESTING A MASTER PLAN TO BE DONE
BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATON
WHEREAS, the need exists for a study to be done by the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation for the purpose
of preparing a Master Plan relative to the need for frontage roads
in said City; and
WHEREAS, a prerequisite to doing such study and Master Plan
said State agency requires a formal request by the City involved;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown that by the passage of this resolution that the City
of Georgetown does hereby make a formal request to the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation that said agency
do a study and Master Plan to determine the need for frontage roads
in said City of Georgetown.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of June, 1984.
