VIIEPEAS, two public; hearings by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an
offortunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of that certain
tract of land located in Wi�' -*��n County, Texas, known as

WHEREAS, notices of such public hearings were published according
to law in a newsparcr having general circulation in the City of
Gr_orgetown, Texas, and in the herein described territory to be annexed

date is not m,-)re than 20 days nor less than 10 days prior to that hearing,

WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georgetown, texas,
on the 1st day of January, 1984 was 4141.64 ,. acres; and
WHEREAS, the population of the City of Georgetown, Texas is

WHEREAS, all the herein described territory lies within the extra-
territorial jurisaicti,on of the City of Georgetown, Ttixas; and
W11EREAS, the herein described territory lies adjacent and contiguou
to tlo City of Georgetown, Texas; and
IillE ?EAS, the herein described territory contains 20.00
Acres; and
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOW11, TEXAS:
Section 1.They following described land and territory lying
adjacent and contiguous to the City of Georgetown, Texas is hereby
added and annexed to the City of Georgetown, Texas and said territory
hereinafter described shall hereafter be included in the boundary
limits of the City of Gecrgctown, Texas and the present boundary limits
of said City at the variotis points contiguous to the area hercinafter
described ate altered aril amended so as to include said area within
the corporate limits of the City of Georc,ctown, Texas, to-wit:
BEING that certain tract and parcel of land described
in Exhibit A attachvd hereto and incotporat.ed herein
by reference ter all purp.nsos.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so annexed
shall be a part of the City of Georgotown, Texas and the property so
A33ed hcreLy shall bear its pro-rata share of the taxes levied l)y the
City of Georgetown, Texas and inhabitants thereof shall be entitled
to all the rights and privileges of all the: citizens and shall be bound
by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of
Georgetown, Texas.

PLAN OF SERVICE FOR INMSTRIAL FARK NOFMI SUBDMSION
A. POLICE FRO►mC iaN
Upon aiulexation the Georgetown Mlice Department will provide regular and
routine patrols in the area as a part of its overall patrol activities. The
department will respond to any calls for assistance.
B. FIPE SERVICE
Fire service is now being provided to the area and will continue to be provided
by the present personnel and equipment of the fire fighting force.
C. WATER SERVICE
Is presently being provided and will continue to be provided upon annexation
by Jonah water Ccnpany.
D. SEWM SERVICE
Is presently being provided and will continue to be provided upon annexation
by privately owned and maintained septic systems. City of Georgetown will
not accept mainte r an ce of septic system.
E. REFUSE COIZ.I7CTION
Services will be provided upon annexation in accordance with rates, terns and
conditions contained in the Georaetown City Code.
F. TNSPDCTICN SEPVICES
All inspection services (for explei building, electrical, plumbin% etc.)
provided by the City will arbe extended to this area on the effective date of
annexation.
G. PLANNING AND ZCiVMG
The Planning & Zoning jurisdiction of the City will extend to this area on
the effective date of this annexation. Rezoiiux3 is propose trcm R-5
(Single Family District) to I (Industrial District) unless requested otherwise.
H. STREETS, STRICT LIQiTLW., POMMTICN, LIBRARAY SERVICES
Services will be provided upon annexation in accordance with terms and
conditions contained in the Georgeta n City Code.
I. MISCF:I.TANE OUS
Any other applicable municipal services will be provided to the area in
accordnace with policies established by the City of Georgetown.
