BOUNDARY LIMITS OF TIlE CITY or 01:011CIrTONN, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN 'TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF SMITH BF.ANCII PARK SUBDIVISION
MIICII SAID TEFRITORY LIES ADJACENT To AND ADJOINS
THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMIT OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, two public hearings by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an
opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of that certain
tract of land located in Williamson County, Texas, known as SMITH
BRANCH PARK SUBDIVISION
were held, the first be�rig at Gity Ball on the 13th Day of November,
_,l9$4 and the second hearing being 'at City Hall on the
20th Day of November. 1984
WHEREAS, notices of such public hearings were published according
to law in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of.
Georgetown, Teras, and in the herein described territory to be annexed
cn the 28th Da�of October, 1984 for the first such hearing._ which
date is not more than 20 days nor less than 10 days prior to that hearing,
and on the 4th Day of Novembers 1984, forthesecond hearing,
which date is not more than 20ac�'ys nor less than 10 days prior to said
hearing; and
WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
on the lst day of January, 1984 was 4141.64 acres; and
WHEREAS, the population of the City of Georgetown, Texas is
9,468 inhabitants; and
WTIEREAS, all the herein described territory lies within the extra-
territorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the herein described territory lies adjacent and contiguous
to the City of Georgetown, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the herein described territory contains 31.80
acres; and
WIiEREAS, the owner of such property has zeyuested annexation by
the City of Georgetown; -now therefore,
BE`IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1, The following describcd land and territory lying
adjacent and contiguc,us to the City of Georgetown, Texas is hereby
added and annexed to the City of Georgetown, Texas and said territory
hereinafter described shall hereafter he includcd-in the boundary
limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the present boundary limits
of said City at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter
descriLed are altered and amended so as to include said area within
the corporate limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, to -wit:
BEING that certain tract and parcel of land described
in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference for all purposes.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so annexed
shall be a part of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the property so
added hereby shall; bear its pro -rata share of the taxes levied by the
City of Georgetown, Toxas and inhabitants thereof shall be entitled
to all the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound
by the acts,'ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of
Georgetown, Texas.

Upon annexation the Georgetown Police Department will provide regular and
routine patrols in the area as a part of its overall patrol activities. The
department will respond to any calls for assistance.
B. FIRE SEWICE
Fire service is now being provided to the area and will continue to be provided
by the present personnel and equipment of the fire fighting force.
C. WATM SEittTTc
water service will be provided upon installation and approval by the City of
appropriate sized distribution lines in accordance with the City of Georgetown
Subdivision regulations and will continue to be provided in accordance with
rates, terns and (xandi.tions .conta,i.ned in the Georgetown City Code.
D. SrUER SERVICE
Sewer ser✓ice will be providud upon installation and approval by the City of
appropriate sized eollac=ien lines in accordance once with the City of Georgetown
Subdivision regulations and will continue to be provided in arc ordmx;e with
rates, terms and conditions contained in the Georgetown City Code.

Services will be provided upon annexation in accordance with rates, terms
and conditions contained in the Georaetown City Code.

All inspection services (for exaWle, building electrical, plumbing, etc.)
provided by the City will be extended to this area on the effective date: of
annexation.
G. rLANNING AND ZCNr)G
'The Planning 6 Zoning Jurisdiction of the City will extend to this area on
the effective date of this annexation. The zoning will be,R-S (Residential
Single Family) except as noted on Exhibit "A attached.
H. ST'RE TS
Street maintenance will be provided upon installation by the developer after
inspection, and acceptance by the City in accordance with the City of Georgetown
Subdivision Revelations and will continue to be provided in accordance with
terns and conditions contained in the Georgetown City Cade.

Services will be provided upon annexation in accordance with terns and
conditions contained in the Georgetown City Code.
