WHEREAS, two public hearings by tine City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, there all interested persons were provided with an.
opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of that certain
tract of land located in WilliaMson County,.Texas, known as SIERRA
VISTA SECTION THREE SUBDIVISION

WHEREAS, notices of such public hearings were published according
to law in a newsEaper having general circulation in the City of
Georgetown, Texas, and in the herein described territory to be annexed
cn t1:c 28th Day of October, 1984 for the first such hearing, which

WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
on the 1st day of January, 1984 was 4141.64 acres; and
WHEREAS, the population of the City of Georgetown, Texas is
9,468 inhabitants: and
WHEREAS, all the herein described territory lies within the extra-
territorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown, Texas: and
V;nprAS, the herein described territory lies adjacent and contiguous
to the City of Georgetown, Texas; and
EITIERLAS, the herein described territory contains 16.18
acres: and
WHEREAS, the owner of such property has requested annexation by
the City of Georgetown; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY;T1iE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1. The following described land arid territory lying
adjacent and contiguous to the City of Georgetown, Texas is hereby
aJJcd and annexed to the City of Georgetown, Texas and said territory
hereinafter described shall hereafter be included in the boundary
limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the present boundary limits
of said City at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter
described are altered and amended so as to include said area within
the corporate limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, to -wit
BEING that certain tract and parcel of land described
in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference for all purF,oses.
Section'Z. The above described territory and the area so annexed
shall be a part of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the property so
added hereby shall Lear its pro -rata share of the* taxes levied by the
City of Georgetown, Texas and inhabitants thereof shall be entitled
to all the rights an,3 privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound
by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of
Georgetown, Texas.

Upon annexation the Georgetown Police Department will provide regular and
routine patrols in the area as a part of its overall patrol activities. The
department will respond to any.calls for assistance.
B. FIRE SEP.VICE
Fire service is now being provided to the area and will continue to be provided
by the present personnel.and egLupment of the fire fighting force.
C. WATER SEPVTCE
Water service will be provided upon installation and approval by the City of
appropriate si.zod distribution lines in accordance with the City of Georgetown
Subdivision regulations and will continue to be provided in accordance with
rates. terms and conditions contained in the Georgetown City Code.
D. SEWER S=CE
Sewer service will be provided upon installation and approval by the City of
appropriate sized collection lines in accordance with the City of Georgetown
Subdivision regulations and will continue to be provided in accordance with
rates, terms and conditions contained in the Georgetown City Cade.

Services will be provided upon annexation in accordance with rates, te=ns
and oxviitions contained in the Georcetown City Cade.
F. INSPFT:. TCN SOMCES
All inspection services (for example, building electrical, plumbing, etc.)
provided by the City will be extended to this area on the effective date of
annexation.
G. PL7%NNING AND ZCNL'VG
The Planning i Zoning jurisdiction of the City will extend to this area on'
the effective date of this annexation. The zoninq will be R -S (Residential
Single Family) except as noted on Exhibit "A" attached.
H. S'1REETS
Street maintenance will be provided upon installation by the developer after
inspection, and acreptance by the City in accordance with the City of Georgetown
Subdivision Regulations and will continue to be provided in accordance with.
teams and conditions contained in the Georgetown City Cade.
I. STR= LIMTING, RFIr MTICN, LIBRARY SOMIC£S
Services will be provided upon annexation in accordance with terms and
conditions contained in the Georgetown City Cade.

Any other applicable municipal services will be provided to the area in
accordance with policies established by the City of Georgetown.
