WHEREAS, two public hearings by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of that certain tract of land located in Williamson County, Texas, known as _TL1QUS&WD OAKS SECTION TWO SUBDIVISION _ were held, the first being ai d>:ty lIa on the 13th Day of Novem er, „1_J84 , and the second hearing being at City Hall on t -_-he ._ of 1984 WHEREAS, notices�of such public hearings were published according to law in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Georgetown, Texas, and in the herein described territory to be annexed on the 28th Day of October, 1984 for the first such hearing, which date is not more than 00 days nor 17ess than 10 days prior to that hearing, and on the 4th Day-of-November, ay-of November 1984, for the second hearing, is date s not more thanQ �ays nor ess than 18 days prior to said hearing; and WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georgetown, Texas, on the 1st day of January, 1984 was 4141.64 acres; and W)tEREAS, the population of the City of Georgetown,Texas is , 9.468 inhabitants; and - WHERE:AS, all the herein described territory lies within the extra- territorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown, Texas; and WDEREAS, the herein described territory lies adjacent and contiguous to the City of Georgetown, Texas; and WNEREAS, the herein described territory contains 4.62 acres; and BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE: CITY OF GEORGETOWNY TEXAS: Section 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent and contiguous to the City of Georgetown, Texas is hereby added and annexed to the City of Georgetown, Texas and said territory hereinafter described shall hereafter be included in the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the present boundary limits - of said City at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter described are altered and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, to -wit: SEI13G that certain tract and parcel of land described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes. Section 2. The above described territory and the area so annexed shall be a part of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the property so `added hereby* shall bear its pro -rata share of the taxes levied by the City of Georgetown, Texas and inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall he bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of Georgetown, Texas. POLICE PRC7TFX" TICN Upon annexation the Georgetown Police De rtment will provide regular.and routine patrols in the area as a part of its overall patrol activities. The ,departrnent will respond to any calls for assistance. B. FIRE SERVICE Fire service is now being provided to the area and will continue to'be'provided by the present personnel and equipment of the fire fighting force. C WA71M SERVICE Is presently being provided and will continue to be provided upon annexation in accordance with rates, terms and conditions contained in the Georgetown City Code. - D. SBgM SERVICE Is presently being provided and will continue to be provided upon annexation in accordance with rates, terms and conditions.contained in the Georgetown City Code. E. REFUSE COILWrICI+I Service will be provided upon aruiexation in accordance with rates, terms and conditions contained in the,Georgetown City Code. F. INSPDc'TioN SERVICES All inspection services (for ex=iple,` building, electrical plumbing, etc.) provided by the City will be extended to this area.on the effective date of annexation. - <. G. PL.AMIM AND ZCXVING The Planning & Zoning jurisdiction of .the City will extend to this area on the effective date of annexation.- The zoning, will be R -S (Residential. Single Family) unless requested otherwise. H. STREETS, MRM LIGHTiNC.;, RECREATION, LIBRARY SERVICFS Services will be provided upon aiu=ation in accordance with terms and conditions contained in the Georgetown City Code. I. MISCELLttymcUS Any other applicable municipal services will be provided to the area in accordance with policies established by the City of Georgetown. 77
