W11EREAS, two public hearings by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, where.all interested persons were provided with an
opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of that certain ,
tract of land located in Williamson County, Texas, known as A_InBTZ

were held, the first being at City Ha11 on the-5th.��-A�tss�r1�
and the second hearing being at Ci y Hall on the

WHEREAS,
984 WHEREAS, notices of such public hearings were published according
to law in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of
Georgetown, Texas, and in the herein described territory to be annexed
on the 31st-cls� a o� . 184 _ for the first such hearing, which
date is not more than -2--6—da- ys nor less than 10 days prior to that hearing,
and on the .L.19841984, for the second hearing,
which date as not more than 20 days nor_Tess than 10 days prior to said
hearing: and
WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
on the 1st day of January, 1984 was 4141.64 acres; and
WHEREAS, the population of the City of Georgetown, Texas is

WHEREAS, all the herein described territory lies within the extra-
territorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the herein described territory lies adjacent and contiguou
to the City of Georgetown, Texas. and
WHEREAS, the herein described territory contains 102.01
acres; and
WHEREAS, the owner of such property has requested annexation by
the City of Georgetown= now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1. The following descriLed land and territory lying
adjacent and contiguous to the City of Georgetown, Texas is hereby
added and annexed to the City of Georgetown, Texas and said territory
hereinafter described shall hereafter be included in the boundary
limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the present boundary limits
of said City at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter
described are altered and amended so as to include said area within
the corporate limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, to -wit:
BEING that certain tract and parcel of land described
In Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference for all purposes.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so annexed
shall be a part of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the property so
added hereby shall bear its pro -rata share of the taxes levied by the
City of Georgetown, Texas and inhabitants thereof shall be entitled
to all the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound
by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of
Georgetown, Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading on this 11th dav'of
December, 1984. .

OAK CREST ESTATES - RIVERSIDE UNIT AND SPRING VALLEY UNIT SUBDIVISIONS
A. POLIO PRC TEICTICN
Upon annexation the Georgetown Police Department will provide regular and
routine patrols in the area as a part of its overall patrol activities. The
department will respond to any calls for assistance.
B. FIRE SERVICE ..
Fire service is now being provided to the area and will continue to be provided
by the present personnel and equipment of the fire fighting force.
C. WATER SERVICE
Is presently being provided and will continue to be provided upon annexation
in with rates, ternts and conditions contained in the Georgetown City
Code.
D. SEWER SERVICE
Is presently being provided and will continue to be provided upon aiuzexation
in ar000rdasuee with rates, terms and conditions contained in the Georgetown City
Code,
E.:T ' MUSE COLLEXTTCN
Service will be provided upon annexation in accordance with rates, terms and
ccnditions contained in the Georgetown City Code.
F. INSPEIM N SERVICES
All inspection services (for exanple, building electrial, plumbing, etc.)
provided by the City will be extended to this area on the effective date of
annexatim.
G. PLAI VMG AND ZCN7T]G
The Planning i Zoning jurisdiction of the City will extend to this area on
the effective date of annexation. The zoning will be R -S, (Residential
Single Family) unless requested otherwise.
H. STREETS, STEP LIGHTING, RDCMTICNr LIBRARY SERVICES
Services will be provided upon annexation in accordance with terms and
conditions contained in the Georgetown City Code.
I. MISCELLANEOUS
Any other applicable municipal services will be provided to the area in
accordance with policies established by the City of Georgetown.
