THE HISTORICAL DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AS
SUBMITTED NOVEMBER 13, 1984 BY THE SPECIAL PROJECT
COMMITTEE OF THE GEORGETOWN SESQUICENTENNIAL COMMISSION
WHEREAS
The Georgetown City Council wholeheartedly supports
the Historical District Improvement project, and
WHEREAS
'The funding for this project shall be in part by
(1) assessment of downtown properties within the
Historical District Improvement project,(2) private
sector monies, (3) other City of Georgetown funds,
THEREFORE
Be it resolved that the Georgetown City Council
accept this resolution for funding of this project so
that a rapid implementation can be accomplished.
THEREFORE
Beit further resolved that the assessment program
requires a value enhancement report which would be
funded in its entirety by the private sector.
READ, PASSED, AND APPROVED this 11th day of December 1984.
