HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 08.10.1976 - Execution of Quit Claim DeedRESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED TO PROPERTY IN CITY OF GEORGETOWN BEING ADJACENT TO SCENIC DRIVE AND CONTAINING 0.420 ACRES AND BEING A PART OF OUTLOT 45 AND ADJACENT TO GEORGETOWN HOSPITAL AUTHORITY PROPERTY FOR A TOTAL CONSIDERATION OF $57.50. WHEREAS, there is an irregular shaped tract of land consisting.of 0.420 acres located adjacent to Scenic Drive and West thereof and being a part of Outlot 45 of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and being located adjacent to Georgetown Hospital Authority property; and, WHEREAS, due to such irregular shape said tract is unfit for use or occupancy for any reasonable purpose; and, WHEREAS, an appraisal has been made of the value of said property by Andrew P. Prude, a licensed realtor in the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, reflecting that $57.50 is the fair market value of said tract; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, has, and does hereby, authorize and direct its Mayor to execute a Quit Claim deed to James L. Shepherd, H. R. Gaddy, Jr. and Douglas M. Benold covering said property. DONE this the day of July, 1976.
