CONTRACT • + WILLIAMSON COUNTY ELECTIONS ADMINISTRATOR TO CONDUCT SAID ELECTION; MAKING SUCH OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT. WHEREAS, on August 24, 2010, the City Council approved calling of an election on November 2, 2010 for the purpose of seeking voters response to the Proposition of "The Reauthorization of the Local Sales and Use Tax in the City of Georgetown, Texas, at the Rate of One -Fourth of One Percent to Continue Providing Revenue for Maintenance and Repair of Municipal Streets;" and WHEREAS, the City approved a Joint Election Agreement with the Williamson County Elections Administrator to serve as the Elections Officer; and WHEREAS, the election day polling locations were delineated in Exhibit "D" of Ordinance No. 2010-26, a copy of which is attached; and WHEREAS, the early voting polling locations were delineated in Exhibit "C" of Ordinance No. 2010-26, a copy of which is attached; and WHEREAS, there is a need to add mobile locations to the early voting locations as noted in the updated Exhibit "C, which is attached; and WHEREAS, the updated Exhibit "C" was forwarded to the City by the Williamson County Elections Department NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. SECTION 2. The early voting locations shall be as delineated in the Updated Exhibit "C" and the election day polling locations shall be as delineated in Exhibit "D" for the November 2, 2010 Special Election.
