July 14, 1975
The City Council met on the above date with Mayor Joe E. Crawford
presiding. The following councilmen and officials were present: J. D, Wininger,
Dee Scott, Harry. Gold, John Doerfler, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary
W. L. Walden and City Attorney Joe McMaster. Others present were: Gary
Seaman, Charles Steiger, Rueben Trvino, Rodney Montgomery, Buddy Adams,
Harold Parker and other interested citizens.
Monthly Minutes Motion by Wininger and seconded by Scott to approve the minutes of
and Reports the City Council meetings held on June 9, June 12 and June 24, 1975. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.
Motion by Gold and seconded by Scott that General Fund bills in the
amount of $12,953.12 and Utility Fund bills in the amount of $120,677.74 be
approve and paid. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Northwest Blvd. The following bids to furnish the City of Georgetown with 1,655 feet of
Sewer Bids 12" VC Sewer pipe in place were opened:
1. Doyle Construction $18,819.20
2. Lee Roy Psencik $26,925.00
3. Roy A. Krienke $23,155.00
Mayor Crawford appointed a committee of Scott, Wininger and Wood to
study the bids and report back at a special called Council Meeting to be held
on July 18, 1975 at 5:00 p.m. o'clock.
Annexation- A Public Hearing was held on this date at 6:00 p.m. on the proposed annex -
Sherrill Oaks ation of Sherrill Oaks. No action was taken at this council meeting on the
subject. A special Council Meeting was set to be held on the 29th day of July,
1975, at 8:00 p.m., o'clock to have the first reading of the Annexation Ordinance.
Urban Renewal- Motion by Scott and seconded by Gold to approve a Resolution approving
Sale of Lots prices and conditions of bids on Lots 1 through 8 -Block J, Lots 1 through 6, 9,
10, and 13 - Block Q, Lots 3, 4 and 7 - Block C, and Lot 1 of Block S. Motion
carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book 02 - Page #479-480)

Advertise for
Motion by Gold and seconded by Wininger to authorize City Manager
Gas and Oil Bids
Leo Wood to advertise for bids on gas and oil to be furnished to the City for
the next fiscal year. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Bids to be opened
at the next regular council meeting.
Final Plat
Motion by Doerfler and seconded by Wininger to approve a Resolution
Langford Estates
authorizing the filing of the final plat of the Langford Estates. Motion carried
by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book 02 - Page 1 481)
Historical Zoning
Motion by Gold and seconded by Wininger to approve (subject to changing
Ordinance
the wording so that a majority of the Historical Zoning Committee will be made
up of property owners in the Historical Districts) the Historical Zoning Ordinance
on the first reading. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Rebate Ordinance
A recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission requesting
the rebate to developers for water and sewer line installation be discontinued
was presented. This recommendation was tabled until next regular council
meeting.
Public hearing
Motion by Scott and seconded by Wininger to approve a Resolution calling
Annexation-
for a Public Hearing on the proposed annexation of Quail Meadow Units I & II
Quail Meadow
and River bend Units I, II & III, to be held in the Georgetown City Council
I & II-Riverbend
Chambers on the 29th day of July 1975 at 6:30 p.m. o'clock. Motion carried

by unanimous vote. ( See Ordinance Book #2 - Page # 481-483)
60% Electrical Motion by Gold and seconded by Scott to approve an electrical fuel
Fuel Charge adjustment charge of 60% in the July billing. Motion carried by unanimous
vote.
There being no further business on a motion by Wininger and seconded by
Gold the meeting adjourned.
