The following Councilmen and officials were present: Harry Gold, Hubert Brock, J. D. Wininger, Dee Scott, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden and City Inspector Tom Sams. Others present were: Annete Jones and Jeff South. Report on Hangers Councilman Hubert Brock, speaking for the committee appointed by Bids for Airport Mayor Crawford to study the Airport Hanger bids, presented the unanimous recommendation of the committee that Bob Hogberg be awarded the contract for furnishing and erecting the two hangers at the Georgetown Airport. The low bid from Structure Construction Inc. was not taken due to the fact there was no date on whether the building conformed to the Southern Building Code. Bob Hogberg was awarded the contract over B. L. Mince Construction due to a directive from the Federal Disaster Assistance Administration suggesting the use of contractors who reside or do business in the affected area wherever practicable. Motion by Brock and seconded by Wininger to approve the commi- ttees recommendation. Motion carried by unanimous vote. There being no further business on a motion by Gold and seconded by Scott the meeting was adjourned. ATTEST:
