HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 01.27.1975 CC-S26.9 January 27, 1975 L .�, The City Council met in special session on the above date with Mayor Joe E. Crawford presiding. The following councilmen -.and officials were present: Cr Harry Gold, Hubert Brock, J. D. Wininger, Dee Scott, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City Attorney Joe McMaster and City Building Inspector Tom Sams. Others present were: Jeff South, Annette Jones, Jay Sloan, Ken Poteet, Don Hewlett, Charles Forbes, Bill Conners, Dr. Hal Gaddy, Sam Austin, Bob McKay and other interested persons. Georgetown Jay Sloan presented his views on the status of the Hospital Authority and Hospital the progress for securing financing for the new hospital. Sloan reported that FHA Authority Report would probably finance 75% of the 3.1 million dollars if community participation would furnish the other 25%. One suggestion was that the City might sell revenue bonds to be paid off from revenues from the operation of the new hospital. Mr. Sloan was advised that the City Council would like to confer with Curtis Adrian, City of Georgetown Financial Advisor, before making any decisions. Williamson Motion by Scott and seconded by Brock to approve a contract between County Jail Williamson County and the City of Georgetown which pertains to the charges for Contract the use of the County Jail. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Vacation of A Resolution for the vacation of the Industrial Park North Plat was presented. Industrial Park No action was taken due to the vacating instrument not having been signed by North Plat all property owners involved in the subdivision. Community Tom Sams presented the application for the Community Development Block Development Grant funding. Motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold to approve the Application application. Motion carried by unanimous vote. There being no further business on a motion by Wininger and seconded by Brock the meeting adjourned. ATTEST:
