The City Council met in special emergency session on the above date with
Mayor Joe E. Crawford presiding. The following Councilmen and officials
werepresent: Harry Gold, William R. Eanes, Hubert Brock, J. D. Wininger,
Dee Scott, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden and City
Attorney Joe B. McMaster. Others present were Joe Nalls, Jeff South and Jeff
Benkoe.
General Telephone The meeting was convened in open meeting for which the public notice had
Rate Increase- been given.
Litigation Mayor Crawford then announced that this would be a closed session held
under Section 2 (a) (a) where the attorney's advice was sought by the City Council
on pending General Telephone rate increase litigation.
After this discussion was held the meeting adjourned.
