The City Council met in •called session on the above date with Mayor
Joe E: Crawford presiding. The following councilmen and officials were present,
William Eanes, Harry Gold, Hubert Brock,J. D.-Wininger, Dee Scott, City
Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Claud Eads and City Attorney Joe McMaster.
Others present were Dr. James L. Shepherd, Dr. Douglas Benold, Dr. H. R. Gaddy, Jr.,
Hospital Administrator Kenneth Poteete, Bill Buchanan and Andy Welch.
Hospital Auth- Motion by J. D. Wininger and seconded by William Eanes that an ordinance
ority Ordinance authorizing a Hospital Authority be passed on its first reading.
Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book no. 2 - Page 312)
Urban Renewal Motion by Brock and seconded by Gold that Estimate No. 3 & 4, Phase 2 of
Est. #3 & 04 - Urban Renewal Project in the amount of $9,886.99 from Lee Roy Psencik be
Phase 2 approved and paid. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
F. E. Holloman- City Manager Leo Wood brought to the attention of City Attorney McMaster
Lawsuit and the City Council the filing of a lawsuit being brought against the City by
F. E. Holloman. City Attorney McMaster reported that he was studing the matter
and preparing a written answer to.be filed by the City. Motion passed authorizing empl-
oyment of Douglas Hearne, attorney, to work on Holloman suit.
There being no further business on a motion by Brock and seconded by
Eanes the meeting adjourned.
