The City Council met in called session on the above date with Mayor
Joe E. Crawford presiding. The following councilmen and officials were
present, William Lanes, Harry Gold, Dee Scott, J. D. Wininger, Hubert
Brock, City Manager Leo Wood, Asst. City Manager Claud Eads, City
Attorney Joe McMaster, Virgil Carlson, Bill Buchanan and Norma Harris.
Urban Re- Virgil Carlson presented a proposal for Job No. 68 -218 -Ur Project
newal No. Tex R-102, South San Gabriel, Georgetown, Texas for City of Georgetown
Paving Street and Drainage Improvements Phase 11. This is to cover about 14
blocks of new street paving on West and Timber Streets.
After discussion and study of the proposal a motion was made by
Brock and seconded by Wininger that the city advertise for bids on
the proposed project and that bids be opened June 12, 1972. Votes as
follows: AYES: Brock, Gold, Lanes, Scott and Wininger. NOES: None.
There being no further business on a motion by Brock d seconded
by Lanes the meeting adjourned.
