VThe City Council met in called session on the above date, with Mayor
Jay C. Sloan presiding. The following Councilmen and officials were present,
William Eanes, Harry Gold, Joe Crawford, J. D. Wininger, !Hubert D rock,
City Manager Leo Wood, Asst, City Manager Claud lads, Bill Buchanan,
Skip Mills, J. E. Hutchinson, and Grady Watkins, who was present by
invitation of letter from !Mayor Sloan.
Grady Mayor Sloan and the Council discussed at length with Mr. Watkins
Watkins his plans for developing subdivisions, in past developements and also
in future developements. Both parties expressed their views on how im-
provements could be made by working together. Mayor Sloan advised Mr.
Watkins that the Council would be glad to have him present at any or all
meetings.
Bills Motion by Gold and seconded by Wininger that the following; bills
be approved and paid.

Motion carried by unanimous vote.
C.O.G. A Council of Government Resolution was presented to the Council by
Resolution \tanager Wood for consideration of the City joining the Capital Area Plann-
ing Council.
Motion by Brock and seconded by Gold that the above Resolution be
passed and accepted. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book
No. 2 - Page 213)
There being no further business on a motion by Eanes and seconded by
Brock the meeting adjourned.
