A October 27, 1969
The City Council met in called session on the above date for the
purpose of proposed bond program for the City of Georgetown. Mayor
Jay C. Sloan was presiding. The following councilmen and officials
were present, Harry Gold, Hubert Brock, Doyle Lyda, A. F. Davis,
Leo Wood - City Manager, Claud Eads - Asst. City Manager, Also
present were Bill Buchannan, Mrs. Cook, and Mrs. Runell Baker with the
news media.
Library A motion was made by 11arr3 Gold and seconded by Hubert Brock
Bills that bills submitted by David Holt in amount of $570.46, for ser-
vices as Library Consultant for Georgetown Public Library and a bill
submitted by Eugene Hobart in the amount of $861.89, for architect
fees on the Georgetown Public Library be paid. Motion carried by
unanimous vote.
Bond - City Manager Leo Wood'wes authorized to contact Curtis Adrian,
Election fiscal agent for the City of Georgetown to order a bond election on
December 6, 1969.
Special !Mayor Sloan stated that there would be a special meeting of the
Meeting City Council on November 12th, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. in the City Council
meeting room.
There being no further business on a motion by Lyda and seconded
by Davis the meeting adjourned.
