V Manager Coruicil interviewed Fred Poe fro --i ?Midland, Texas for position
Applicant of city manager, no action was taken.
Home Rule Mayor Jay C. Sloan read letters from the Texas Municipal Lea-ue
Charter re-arding the Nome ltule Charter.
Airport Councilman Lyda stated that Airport Maniger Bouttirell had contacted
(Grants) federal authorities re-arding fedoral grants for airport improvements
and .Mr. Boutwell stated that, there were no federal funds available
for this project tit this tine.
ELI Ili tar•y Councilman Brock reported that he had attended meeting with
Landfill (HR) Round Hock councilmen and citizens regarding sanitary Inndfill as
a joint project by Cit: of hound rtocl; anti City of G(,orgetown. No
action was taken.
.'Ambulance Coui,cil discussed the discontinuance of ambulance service in
Oiscontinu- Williamson County. Councilmen Davis, Brock and Lyda are to attend
ance) meeting in Taylor regarding discontinuing of this service.
Water Tower Council su—,e�zted that J. D. Tinning, water and sewer superinten-
dent, contact Less Hudson and made a coordinated study of painting
water tower inside and outside.
Sewer Line Motion by Gold and seconded by „rock that council authorize
Study W. H. Mullins Engineering Company to make an Engineers study and
report of costs of installillw a sewer line from hi-a`rway 81 west to
highway 35 at place that our sewer line goes under higrhway 35 near
Georgetown Inn location also the number of customers that this line
will serve. Motion carried by trnaniwons vote.
�Ianatrer Council interviewed 11. A. Thomason fro+n Gainesville, Texas for
applicant position of city manager. No action was taken.
There being no further business, on motion by Lanes and seconded
by Davis, meeting adjourned.
