The following councilmen and officials were present: William It. Lanes, Doyle Lyda, llubert Prock and assistant City Manager Claud Eads. Also present were: Miss Irene Henderson, Mrs. hlnora Cook, Drew liallard. and Tames A. Reh"ler. Minutes of council meetin-9 held 'November 14th and December 2nd, 1968 were approved as presented, Motion by Brock and seconded by Lyda that General Fund bills in amount of $1,850.34 and Utility fund bills in amount of$12,647.89 be approved for payment. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Library Bldg. Councilman Eanes stated that he and Councilman Gold had contacted State Library board in reference to I.O.O.F. building and stated that - progress was being; made. Speed Zone Erecting; a 20 mile speed limit was discuLsed. Mayor stated that Last 15th lie thought it advisable to contact Chief of Police and City Attorney before erecting; sign. The average daily circulation was 20 and we had 17 new card holders. OWe had 312 paperbacks ;riven to us and 158 hardbacks. �►. We added 2 books to onr best seller's shelf and 1 new hook to the V children's room. These were ordered in October. vt'e received our order of supplies from Gaylord 'troy., Inc. The cost was 614.50. 212 books have been processed and shelved for the month of November. We have put in 21 new shelves and the price was 0'20.00 each. Monev for memorial books for the month of November was y25.00 Si^ned Mrs. Vern Philpot Acting Librarian Mayor stated that there would he a called mceting of council on December 16, 1968.
