!Mayor R. S. Elliott called a rieeting of council on the above date to
discuss the construction of an electric loop to serve Southwestern University
and adjoining customers in the area.
The following Councilmen were present: Doyle Lyda, Edward Lee Evans,
Jay C.: Sloan, Hubert Brock, A. IV. 11oyt, Jr. Also Present were City Manager
Charles D. Eyeington, Claud Eads, City Secretary; Claudie Mayo, Electrical
Superintendent; H. W. Currinton and Less iludson and John Tarpley representing
Bryant and Currinirton In„ineers to discuss the cost and to consult with the
Council in reference to details of Construction of Electrical Loop. Mr.
Currin;;ton stated the fee for engineerinm services would be 612,"0' of total cost
of construction. No Action was taken.
There beinir no further business the council adjourned.
