November 8, 1965
The City Council met on the above date, Mayor Il. S. Elliott pre-
siding. The following Councilmen and officials were present: A. W. Iloyt,Jr.,
flubert1f. Brock, Doyle Lyda, Edward Lee Evans, Jay C. Sloan, Charles D.
Eyeington, City Manager, Claud Eadd, City Secretary, Joe Il. McMaster,
City Attorney. Also present were: Mr. & Mrs. J. L. Janetsky, Felix Melbarn,
Sanders Letbett3r, with Southwestern States Telephone Company and Drew
Ballard with K.G.T. N. Radio Station.
Motion by Jay C. Sloan and seconded by A. W. Ifoyt, Jr., that General
Fund Bills in the amount of $3,715.59 be paid. Motion carried by unanimous
vote. Motion by Brock and seconded by Evans that minutes of regular
meeting held on October 4th, 1965 and called meeting held on November 3,
1965 be approved. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Harold Parker discussed the possibility of city constructing a lift
station on Country Club to serve homes being constructed in that area.
Councilman Evans suggested that proposed lift station be given further
study and consideration at a later date.

November 3, 1965
To the City of Georgetown:
We the undersigned citizens of Georgetown and residents of Olive
Street, ask and petition that something be done about the pack of dogs
at 1706 Olive Street,
These dogs are attacking visitors that come to our homes, are
attaching school children that pass on this street on the way to school,
are scattering garbage over the street, and their insistent barking
keeps us awake at night.

Mayor suggested that Chief of Police look into the matter and have
the dogs picked up.
Speed ordinance on Williams drive as suggested by Ili;►,hway Dept. was
discussed by eoiincil. Motion by Brock and seconded by Evans that proposed
speed limit on Williams Drive be amended to reduce speed limit by 20%.
Notion carried.
Councilman Evans suggested that letter be written to Swedish Methodist
Church commending them for recessing their sidewalk south of their church
to provide more parking Area.

Motion by Brock and seconded by Lyda that above Ordinance be passed.

Mayor declared Ordinance passed. See Ordinance Book Page 472 473.
Mayor stated that there would be a called meeting of Council on
November 15th to discuss Audit report.
Mr. Janetsky discussed the airport operation with the council. No
action was taken.
