Ordinance read'by Caption . On motion of Alderman Jones, seconded by
Alderman, Engvall, the usual rules for passing Ordinance were suspended and
the said Ordinance was passed to the third reading, and ordered read by Caption.
The following was the vote, Ayes, Engvall, Jones, Hoyt, Wilcox,, Noes - None.
RESOLifl ION -NOVEMIM 20, 1961
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown participates in the Georgetown
Recreation Program; and
1HTREAS; it is the desire of the City of Georgetown to delegate the
authority for the management and use of the baseball fields to the Georgetown
Recreation Board;
NOVi THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council that the Georgetown
Recreation Board be and it is hereby given the authority to manage all of the
baseball fields , said Georgetown Recreation Board to plan the schedules of
playing on said fields so that the City of Georgetown w11 have no authority
as to when and where each team plays on said fields.

On motion by A. Vi. Hoyt, Jr., and seconded by J. H. Compton the
above resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. See page 217- 218
of Ordinance Book.
There being no -further business on motion by Floyd Jones and seconded
by A. Vi. Hoyt, Jr., that meeting adjourn.
