The City Council met in a called session on the above date with the following present;
Mayor C. A. Forbes - Aldermen J. H. Compton, Elmer Fredericson, Ralph A. Freund, F3gd
Jones, Kennie Wilcox, Jr. and Manager Lee Black.
After long deliberation and study, it was unanimously decided to offer The Southwestern
States Telephone Co. approximately a 20% increase over the present rate. The new rate to
read as followa;
