The City Council met in a called session for the purpose d'peaing
bids on a 2 -ton garbage truck and a 1i -ton fire truck, for the city of
Georgetown, Mayor J. T. Atkin presiding. The following aldermen were
present; J. H. Compton, Ralph Preund, Elmer Tredericson,
Kennie Wilcox, Jr., A. C. Toodfin: Manager Lee C. Blabk and Assistant
H. A. Partain, secretary protem.
Bids opened for the Two -ton Truck=

Bids for a 1i -ton fire truck:

N. G. Lord Co.,having the low bid on the 1J tIn fire truck of

Motion was made by Ald. Compton and seconded by Ald. Ald. Kennie
Wilcox, Jr., that the low bids be accepted. Trotion passed unani-
mously.
There being no further business, motion to adjourn wRs made by
Ald. 'Voodfin, seconded by Elmer Fredericson, passed.
