The City Council met in regdlar session on the above date, Mayor
J.T.Atkins presiding, The following were present. Aldo J.H.Compton
E.K.Fredericson, Ralph Freund, A.C.Woodfin And Kennie Wilcox Jr.
Officials: City Manager Lee C. Black, Asst, H.A.Partain, W.H.Nunn
attorney and A.P.Pickle chief vf Police
Minutes of the last regular session and a Called session of June
1 1955 were read, and approved, on motion of Aldo Fredericson and
seconded by Ald. Wilcox
City Manager Lee Black submitted his regular monthly report, also
the monthly reports of City Officials and statements of bill for
approval and payment in the amount of $ 238.13, on motion of Aldo
Kennie Wilcox. Jr. and seconded by Aldo A.C.Woodfin , the reports
were received and filed and all bills ordered paid.
Mayor Atkins presented a new electric rate to the council, after
study and consideration motion was made by Aldo Ralph Freund and
seconded by Aldo Elmer Fredericson that the new rate be adopted
and be effective on the July 1955, billing.
The Votes; AYES; Compton, Fredericson, Freund, Wilcox, Waodfin.

Mr. Carl Doering came before the Council 3n rega"t s'to an all electric
ginin Georgetown, Mayor Atkins suggested that Manager Lee Black
figure out cost on this and the Council would give Mr. Doering
and answer as soon as these figures could be obtained.
Manager Lee Black read an amendment to the Zoning ordinance,
The Council decided to study this amendment untill next regular
meeting.
There occuring no further buisness the Council adjourned .
