October 17, 1985
The City Council met in Special Session on the
above date at 5:15 PM with Mayor Carl Doering
presiding. The following Council Members and
Officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Bill
Connor, William C. Shell, Joan King, Jim
Colbert, City Secretary Pat Caballero, City
Manager Frank Reed, Director of Public Works
Allyn Moore, Community Development and Planning
Director Ed Barry and Transition Consultant
Renee Hanson.
(� 1. Executive Session Article 6252-17 VTCS Article 2 (e) -
'� Litigation
Q Mayor Doering announced that the council would
Q meet in executive session under Art. 6252-17
Sec. 2 (e). After the executive session the
meeting was again open to the public.
2. Drainage and Right of Way Easements - MKT Railroad
Motion by Connor and second by Shell to accept
the terms set forth in a letter from Rae
Renolds, of the MKT Railroad, and to let the
minutes show that the city council does not
intend to close 8th street as part of this
agreement and that the city intends to pass an
ordinance accepting this agreement but not
necessarily the ordinance submitted by the MKT
Railroad. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
3. Misc. No action taken on this matter.
4. Adjourn Motion by Connor and second by Shell to
adjourn. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
