October 15, 1985
The City Council met in Special Session on the
above date at 12:45 PM with Mayor Carl Doering
presiding. The following Council Members and
Officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Bill
Connor, William C. Shell, Joan King, Jim
Colbert, City Secretary Pat Caballero, City
Manager Frank Reed, and Tax/Finance Officer
Barbara Raney.
1. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT RE -INVESTMENT
No action taken on this matter.
2. RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING INVESTMENT POLICY CONCERNING
PROCEDURES FOR CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT AND OTHER
FUNDS
Motion by King and second by Connor to resolve
that the current method of renewal of
certificates of deposits be maintained and that
the mayor be authorized to take the steps
necessary to insure the timely renewal of these
deposits until such time as a formal written
policy can be written. Motion carried by
unanimous vote.
3. MISC. No action taken on this matter.
4. ADJOURN Motion by Connor and second by Shell to
adjourn. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
