December 21, 1984
The City Council met in Special Session on the above
date at 7:00 P.M. with Mayor Carl Doering presiding.
The following council members and officials were
present: Eb C. Girvin, Bill Connor, William C. Shell,
Jim Colbert, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Pat
Caballero, Public Works Director W. L. Walden and
Planning Director Renee Hanson. Council Member King was
absent.
Bills over $2,000.00 Motion by Colbert and seconded by Shell to approve the bills
over $2,000.00 as submitted by City Manager Leo Wood. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.
Austin Metro This iterm to be considered at the Janury 8, 1985 regular
council meeting.
,Ordinance - Annexation Motion by Girvin and seconded by Colbert to approve the
Oak Crest Estates, River -second and final reading of the ordinance annexing the
side and Spring Valley Oack Crest Estates, Riverside and Spring Valley Units.
Units, 2nd reading Motion carried by unanimous vote. (Ord. Book #5,Page

River Ridge II to split this development into two(2) plats. Motion carried
by unanimous vote.
Ordinance - Rezoning Motion by Connor and seconded by Shell to approve the second
314 E. 6 St. from RS and final reading of the ordinance rezoning 314 East 6th.
to C-1. 2nd reading Street from RS to C-1. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

Objects & Movement second and final reading an ordinance prohibiting
of Peddlers during the throwing of objects and movement of Peddlers
Parades, 2nd read. during Parades. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

Brazos River Auth. No action was taken on this matter.
Misc. Planning Director Hanson reported on matters relitive to
the Edwards aquifier.
Executive Session Mayor Doering announced that the council would meet in
Land and Personnel executive session under V.T.C.S. Article 6252-17 Section 2
(f) and 2(g). After the executive session the meeting was
again open to the public.
Adjourn Motion by Connor and seconded by Colbert to adjourn.
