HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 11.27.1984 CC-S211 November 27, 1984 The City Council met in Special Session on the above date at 6:30 P.M. with Mayor Carl Doering presiding. The following Council Members and officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Bill Connor, William C. Shell, Joan King, Jim Colbert, City Secretary Pat Caballero, Planning Director Renee Hanson, Building Official Frank Wineinger, and Fire Chief Les Bunte. Approve Fire The following Aerial Ladder Fire Truck bids were Truck Bid submitted: Phoenix Southwest, Ltd. $316,888.00 Sunfire Apparatus 328,444.00 Pierce Manufacturing 363,336.00 Alternate Bid: Pierce Manufacturing $337,900.00 Motion by Shell and seconded by Connor to accept the Phoenix Southwest, Ltd. upon the inspection and approval (� of the Fire Chief and staff. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Q Engineering No action taken on this matter. a Preliminary Plat Mayor Doering appointed Council Members Shell and Connor Pleasant Valley to work out an agreement with the home owners and the developers. Jonah Water No action was taken on this matter. Supply Dan Martin This matter to be taken up in executive session. Ordinance - Amend- Motion by Colbert and seconded by King to pass the ing Zoning Ord., second and final reading of the ordinance. Motion Sec. 14.2, 2nd read. carried by unanimous vote. ( Ord. Book # 5, Pages 404-406). Ordinance - Amend- Motion by King and seconded by Girvin to pass the ing Rate Schedule second and final reading of the ordinance. Motion for Variances, carried by unanimous vote. ( Ord. Book 16, Page 407). 2nd reading Brazos River No action was taken on this matter. Authority Executive Session- At this time Mayor Doering announced that the Council Personnedl would meet in executive session under V.T.C.S. article 6252-17 Sec. 2 (g) to discuss personnel. After executive session, the meeting was again open to the public. Dan Martin - Motion by Connor and seconded by Colbert to authorize Mayor Doering to enter into an agreement with Dan Martin for assisting the Georgetown City Government in the improvement of its administrative operations. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Mis. No action was taken on this matter. Adjourn Motion by Shell and seconded by Connor to adjourn. Motion ca ied by unanimous vote.
