HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 09.19.1984 CC-S195 SEPTEMBER 19, 1984 The City Council met in special session on the above date at 7:00 P.M. with Mayor Doering presiding. The following Council Members ami. Officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Bill Connor, William C. Shell, Joan King, Jim Colbert, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Pat Caballero, Public Works Director W. L. Walden, Planning Director Renee Hanson, Tax/Finance Director Barbara Raney, Building Official Frank Wineinger, Police Chief Travis Thomas and Fire Marshall Les Bunte. 6:00 P.M. - Capital Imporvements The Council undertook a lengthy discussion regarding Capital Improvements for the City of Georgetown. 7:30 P.M. Brazos River Authority T'i Resolutions The Council considered two resolutions submitted by the Brazos �-� River Authority. Bills over $2,000. Director of Public Works, W. L. Walden submitted a bill of $7,930.64 to Bryant - Curington for engineering at the landfill. Q Motion by Connor and seconded by Shell to authorize payment. Q Motion carried by unanimous vote. 200 Janis Drive The Council considered the installation of a septic tank Septic Tank located at 200 Janis Drive. The Council indicated that this installation is not consistent with City regulations. Motion by Shell and seconded by King to instruct Mr. Ronald Grady owner of the installation to discontinue work on the tank and to pay $250.00 connect fee to the City. The City would provide Mr. Grady with a forced main system and the City would acquire the septic tank. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Misc. No action taken on this matter.
