October 19, 1983
The City Council met in special session on the above
date at 7:00 PM with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding.
The following Councilmen and Officials were present:
Eb C. Girvin, Carl Doering, Marvin Lackey, Bill Connor,
William C. Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary
Jim Colbert, Public Works Director W. L. Walden,
Tax/Finance Director Barbara Raney and City Planner
Renee Hanson.
CIP Studies and No action was taken on this matter.
Work Session
Ordinance - Rezoning Motion by Connor and seconded by Lackey to approve on
OL4, Div. A from RM second and final reading an ordinance rezoning OL4,
to C2A, 2nd reading Division A from RM, Multi -family to C2A, Commercial,
subject to required easement being executed. Motion
carried by unanimous vote. (Ord. Book #5, Pages 90-91).
Variance - Fence on Motion by Connor and seconded by Doering to approve a
OL4, Division A variance allowing a chain link fence instead of a solid
fence on OL4, Division A. Motion carried by unanimous
vote.
Easement - Southside Motion by Doering to obtain a ten foot easement from Superior
Water Project Stone along their north property line in exchange for one
sewer tap and Industrial Zoning. Motion died for lack of
second.

Motion by Doering and seconded by Girvin to obtain a ten
foot easement from Superior Stone along their north
property line in exchange for one sewer tap and Industrial
Zoning. Voting went as follows: AYES: Doering, Girvin,
Lackey and Connor. NOES: Shell. Motion carried by
unanimous vote.
No action was taken on this matter.

and seconded by Connor, ther meeting adjourned.
