June 29, 1983
The City Council met in Special Session at 7:00 PM on the
above date with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The
following Councilmen and Officials were present: Eb C.
Girvin, Carl Doering, Marvin Lackey, Bill Connor, William
C. Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Jim
Colbert, Public Works Director W. L. Walden, Tax/
Finance Director Barbara Raney and Planner Renee Hanson.
Keep Georgetown No action was taken on this matter.
Best - Airport
Variance - Lot 12, Motion by Connor and seconded by Lackey to allow a variance
Block H, Quail on Lot 12, Block H. Quail Valley I to allow the house to
Valley I face the narrow side of the lot, with a fifteen (15)
foot front building line. -Motion carried by unanimous
vote.
Resolution - No action was taken on this matter.
N -i Annexation
co Capital Improvements No action was taken on this matter.
Program
Q South Water Project Motion by Connor and seconded by Doering to recommend
Q and Southwest Service construction, with State Health Department approval,
Area of the following improvements, shown as items 1-5,
Option A in Freese -Nichols Design Report on Southside
Water and Wastewater System Improvements:
1. Installation of two well pumps.
2. Eerection of ground storage tank (size to be
determined based on bids on several options).
3. Construction of a pump station.
4. Paving, fencing and grading of well site.
5. Yard piping at well site.
Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Budget Work Session No action was taken on this matter.
Executive Session At this time Mayor Doerfler announced that the City
Council would convene in executive session as provided
by Article 6252-17 V. T. C. S. Following the executive
session, the meeting was again opened to the public.
Adjourn There being no further business, on a motion by Connor
and seconded by Shell, the meeting adjourned.
