HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 09.21.1982 CC-SSeptember 21, 1982 The City Council met in Special Session on the above date at 5:00 PM with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The following Councilmen and Officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Carl Doering, Marvin Lackey, Bill Connor, William C. Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Jim Colbert, Public Works Director W. L. Walden, Tax/ Finance Director Barbara Raney and Planner Renee Hanson. Electric Meter Motion by Connor and seconded by Shell to recind the Tampering direction to the City Manager to file charges against Jack Davis for electric meter tampering. Voting went as follows: Ayes: Girvin, Doering, Connor and Shell. Noes: Lackey. Motion carried. Resolution - Author- Motion by Shell and seconded by Doering to approve a resolution ize Mayor to execute authorizing the Mayor to execute a right-of-way easement Deed to County from the City to Williamson County. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book #4, Pages 348-354). Fuel Adjustment Motion by Shell and seconded by Girvin to set fuel adjustment at 120%, effective immediately. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Ordinance - Motion by Connor and seconded by Doering to approve on Abandon Clamp St. first reading an ordinance abandoning Clamp Street from 1st reading College Street to the MKT Railroad, provided P.U.E.'s are retained. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Misc. Judge Lott requested use of the City Council Chambers for District Court when it was available. Motion by Doering and seconded by Shell to approve the request. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Adjourn There being no further business, on a motion by Connor and seconded by Shell, the meeting adjourned. U. C . A, TIThn C.
