The City Council met in Special Session on the above
date at 6:30 PM with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding.
The following Councilmen and Officials were present:
Eb C. Girvin, Carl Doering, Marvin Lackey, Bill Connor,
City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Jim Colbert and
Public Works Director W. L. Walden. Councilman Shell
was absent.
Ordinance - Motion by Connor and seconded by Doering to approve on
Street Abandonment - first reading subject to approval by the City Attorney,
a portion of Forest an ordinance abandoning the western one (1) foot of
Street between 6th Forest Street between 6th Street and 7th Street.
Street & 7th Street, Motion carried by unanimous vote.
1st reading
Advertise for Bids - Motion by Lackey and seconded by Connor to authorize the
Airport Terminal advertisement for bids to lease the terminal building
Building and Hanger "A" at the Airport. Motion carried by
unanimous vote.

No action was taken on this matter.
The City Council held a work session on the proposed
1982-83 budget. No action was taken.
There being no further action, on a motion by Connor
and seconded by Lackey the meeting adjourned.
